Please be advised that no animals or alcohol are allowed on the premises.

We are excited to have you join us for the 2nd Annual East Tennessee Homestead Alliance Festival! Below are the key details for the event:

LOCATION: Townsend Visitor Center
DATES: September 12-13, 2025
TIME:

      Friday, September 12: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
      Saturday, September 13: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
      LOAD-IN DAY: Thursday, September 11 from 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM

**Please note that at 5:30 PM on Friday, we will host a community-style potluck dinner for attendees. We encourage those who are not bringing a dish to share, to support our food vendors by purchasing meals from you. **

You may leave your unit on the premises overnight, as security will be provided. Please note that no animals or alcohol are allowed on-site. Ice will be available for purchase on the grounds if needed.

Each food vendor will receive three (3) complimentary festival passes for their employees to access the event.

Welcome to the heart of our festival—the Community Potluck Dinner! This shared meal is more than just food; it’s an opportunity to connect, share traditions, and celebrate our incredible community.

Here’s what to expect:

Bring a Dish to Share: Each guest is encouraged to bring a homemade dish that feeds at least 8–10 people. Pick from a category of appetizers, main dishes, soups/salads, sides or maybe dessert is your passion. Whether it’s a family recipe, a seasonal favorite, or something new you’ve been dying to try, your contribution will make the evening extra special. Let's leave the chips and dip for the football game. If cooking isn't your thing then sign up for plates napkins, silverware, you get the idea.

Label Your Dish: To help everyone enjoy the meal. Please include a small card listing the name of your dish and any key ingredients (especially allergens like nuts, dairy, or gluten). You must provide a serving utensil also. 

Variety of Options: Expect a wide array of dishes—from hearty casseroles and fresh salads to homemade breads and decadent desserts. There will be designated tables for appetizers, mains, sides, and sweets, clearly labeled. 

Come Hungry and Ready to Share: This potluck isn’t just about eating—it’s about sharing stories, swapping recipes, and connecting over great food.

Let’s create a memorable evening of fellowship and fantastic food. Your dish, paired with the collective effort of our community, will make this a night to remember!

We are excited about this year's festival! Thank you for filling out a speaker application. We will be making our choices by March or sooner. If you aren't chosen for this year, don't fret! We will keep the application on hand for all of our potential weekend workshops. 

Would you like to get your marketing material in the hands of 1000 guests at the festival? We've had great success with this and many businesses found it to be a valuable way to get their information out to the local community. 

We are passing out Swag Bags to our guests with your marketing material included!
