About the event
Hampton Roads Pride Weekend is a three-day annual celebration hosted across Norfolk and Virginia Beach, Virginia. For over 30 years, this festival has showcased the 757’s unwavering commitment to uplifting the LGBTQIA+ community through music, art, education, and inclusive, family-friendly experiences. The weekend kicks off with the Pride Block Party on Friday night a 21+ dance party in the heart of the region, bringing nightlife, community, and celebration together. On Saturday, the excitement continues with the nations first Pride Boat Parade, sailing proudly along the historic Elizabeth River. Then, join thousands at PrideFest, our signature outdoor festival filled with live entertainment, community resources, history activations, family activities, local food, art, and joy for all ages. Sunday closes the weekend with Pride at the Beach, a high-energy beach party set against the Virginia Beach Oceanfront sunset. Featuring live DJs, branded VIP experiences, and plenty of picture-perfect moments with friends and chosen family. From parades to parties, beaches to boats—Hampton Roads Pride Weekend is where the 757 comes together to celebrate love, unity, and diversity in all its forms.

Join us for the Iconic Pride Boat Parade, a historic and vibrant centerpiece of Hampton Roads PrideFest, taking place on the Elizabeth River! Celebrating the region’s maritime heritage and its role as the nation's first-ever Pride Boat Parade, this colorful procession is a testament to our community’s diversity, inclusion, and unity.

 

Submission is free upon approval, the Parade kicks off at 12:00 Noon, following the presentation of colors and the National Anthem. Leading the procession will be the USCG Auxiliary, followed by the Grand Marshal, Community Award Winners, the iconic American Rover as a featured vessel, and a fleet of vibrant community vessels.

Decorate your boat and join the celebration.

Please fill this application out in its entirety, along with payment, to be considered for acceptance into the festival.  Any applications without payment will not be considered. While filling out your application, if you encounter any questions or issues, please email vendors@threeoneoneproductions.com. Once your application AND payment have been submitted and your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email from us explaining the next steps!  In the unlikely event that your application is not accepted, you will receive a full refund for your vendor fee.

We are excited to announce that applications are now open for our scholarships, which support high school students and individuals attending or accepted into accredited post-secondary institutions across the United States. These scholarships encompass a variety of fields, including trade, real estate, and other areas of study, reflecting our commitment to fostering diverse pathways to success.

Experience your dream ceremony with the community officiated by Jacinta Gauvin on with the community at Hampton Roads PrideFest. Limited slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the registration fee is $100. All proceeds will contribute to the HRP Scholarship fund.

 

These exclusive ceremonies will take place during the festival at Town Point Park. While the exact stage times will be communicated closer to the event by our entertainment team, please note that your chosen hour during this timeframe will determine your stage time. Each ceremony typically lasts around ten minutes.

The Hampton Roads (757) Pride March is a pedestrian-only event celebrating unity, diversity, and LGBTQ+ pride. Participants will march along the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk. The event is open to individuals, community groups, nonprofits, and businesses who support equality and inclusivity.

 

Following the march, participants are invited to join us at Pride at the Beach at the 31st Street Neptunes Park, featuring live entertainment, food trucks, and interactive community experiences and a chance to relax and wrap up a weekend of Pride events.

 

General Guidelines:

  • All participants must pre-register.
  • Signs, banners, and flags are encouraged; no object throwing allowed.
  • Further event details, including logistics and protocols, will be provided upon registration.

Colors of Pride: Storytelling with Art is an exciting program by Hampton Roads Pride designed to empower LGBTQ+ and allied youth artists. Participants will receive personalized mentorship and consultation from professional adult artists, providing invaluable guidance and support for their creative journeys. The program also includes exclusive behind-the-scenes tours and workshops with local art institutions offering unique insights into the art world, along with a workshop on storytelling with art from local non-profit partners. The culmination of this enriching experience will be an exhibition of the participants' artwork at Pridefest on June 21st, 2025, celebrating their talents and stories. 

 

Applicants should be visual artists between ages 13-18 who live or attend school in the Hampton Roads area. Tours, workshops, and exhibition will be local so applicants should be able to attend these in person, schedule permitting.

By attending the **PrideWeekend 2025**, you agree to the following terms and conditions: **Event Registration** This event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required for entry. **Liability Waiver** By attending this event, you agree to hold harmless and indemnify Hampton Roads Pride, its officers, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and partners, from any liability, injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising out of your participation in this event. **Conduct Guidelines** Attendees are expected to behave in a respectful and inclusive manner. Hampton Roads Pride reserves the right to remove any individual whose behavior is disruptive, offensive, or harmful to others. We ask all guests to treat each other with kindness and respect. **Photography, Recording, and Photo Release Consent** By attending this event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by Hampton Roads Pride or its partners. These materials, including images, videos, and audio recordings, may be used for promotional, marketing, or social media purposes. No compensation will be provided for such media use. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform event staff upon arrival. **Alcohol Consumption** If alcohol is served at the event, attendees must adhere to local laws and regulations regarding alcohol consumption. Hampton Roads Pride encourages responsible drinking. You may be asked to show ID for alcohol-related purchases. **Event Cancellations or Changes** Hampton Roads Pride reserves the right to cancel or modify the event for any reason, including but not limited to health and safety concerns, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, any changes or cancellations will be communicated as soon as possible via email, socials or the event page. **Force Majeure** Hampton Roads Pride is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or other events of force majeure. **Emergency Procedures** In case of emergency, please follow the instructions of event staff and security personnel. Emergency exits and first aid stations will be clearly marked at the venue. Attendees are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these locations upon arrival. **Refund Policy** As this event is free, no tickets or registration fees will be refunded. However, any optional purchases, such as, VIP, donations or add-ons, may be subject to refund policies based on individual circumstances.
