Plein Air Liberty
Date Nocturne: October 3rd, Friday

Date Main Event: October 4th, Saturday
· Time: 8am to 5pm
· Location: Historic Downtown Liberty
Young Artist Event (Ages 10 to 15): October 4th, Saturday
- Time: 10am to 1pm
- Location: Historic Downtown Square
- Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- On the application please insert the parent name in the Business Name field.
Participation Details:
· Who Can Participate: Artists of all skill levels
· Registration: Ongoing
· Preregistration Fee: $35 (includes a care package, lunch, and a workshop discount) early bird registration ends September 9th, 2025.
· Event Day Registration: $45
· Plein Air Liberty participants will be given more information about the purchase award locations at the event.
· Participants will be able to submit up to three pieces for consideration for best of show.
· All paintings that are considered for cash or purchase prizes must be wired and ready to hang by 4:45pm.
· Artists paint within the Historic Downtown boundaries. (Map will be Provided)
Schedule:
- · 8am to 10am: Adult Artists gather at The Artisan Market to have their canvases date-stamped
- · 8am to 4pm: Artists paint within the Historic Downtown boundaries. (Map Provided)
10am: Young Artists gather at The Artisan Market
10am to 1pm Young Artists paint on the Historic Downtown Square
1pm Young Artists gather at City Hall for Awards.
- 4pm to 4:45pm: Artists convene at City Hall to hang their works for judging. ALL WORK MUST BE WIRED TO HANG. Judging begins at 5pm sharp.
- 5pm TO 7PM: Judging, Awards, Refreshments and Artist Meet and Greet.
- Work will remain in City hall until the end of October.
