Event Description
The DCA Gala: A Night of Art & Philanthropy is both an in-person and online auction event celebrating Minnesota artists! Anyone is welcome to participate in the online auction between 8:00am - 8:00pm on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
For the in-person, formal gala and live auction on Saturday, October 18, 2025, attendees must purchase a ticket. Admission includes dinner, a live art auction, a silent auction, and more! The in-person gala also provides the opportunity for guests to meet the artists whose work is featured as part of this event.

Selection Process
Up to 30 artists will be selected for a juried show with the auction taking place both in-person and online. Artists' work will be on display either in-person or online beginning August 28, 2025. As only about 15 works will fit in the space, those that are selected for the in-person gallery will be determined by the Board based upon dimensions and fit within the space. All other works will be available and displayed online.
The jury will include 4 artists with expertise in different mediums to ensure a wide range of experience, knowledge, and understanding of multiple art-making processes.
Artist Benefits
Artists selected for the show will receive 30% of the auction sale of their work and one free ticket to the gala. This exclusive event will be heavily marketed on all platforms with a focus on supporting the artist and helping to expand their network. Only 100 tickets are available for purchase by the public.
