Regular Participation Details are as follows. Who Can Participate: Artists of all skill levels Registration: Ongoing Preregistration Fee: $35 (includes a care package, lunch, and a workshop discount) early bird registration ends September 9th, 2024. Event Day Registration: $45 Plein Air Liberty participants will be given more information about the purchase award locations at the event. Participants will be able to submit up to three pieces for consideration for best of show. All paintings that are considered for cash or purchase prizes must be wired and ready to hang by 4:45pm. Artists paint within the Historic Downtown boundaries. (Map will be Provided) Schedule: 8am to 10am: Artists gather at The Artisan Market to have their canvases date-stamped 8am to 4pm: Artists paint within the Historic Downtown boundaries. (Map Provided) 4pm: Artists convene to hang their works for judging 5pm: Judging, Awards, Refreshments and Artist Meet and Greet. Featured Locations: Downtown Square, Farmers Market, Pumpkin Festival William Jewell College The Madison Miller Home Historic Churches within the boudaries Corbin Mill Jesse James Bank and Museum Many other historical sites, parks, and hundreds of beautiful historic homes.
