About the event
First Friday Art Walk is a self-guided tour of our art galleries, studios and museums with live music around town. It is produced by the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority to showcase our vibrant art community.
The DDA provides LIVE pop-up music at select locations, lists participants on the DDA website and promotes the Art Walk through e-blasts and social media.
The DDA also publishes a monthly map of Art Walk stops and distributes them to various locations to guide visitors.
You must REGISTER here to have your gallery or studio included on the map and the DDA website!

All Art Galleries, Studios, Cultural Arts Centers and Businesses with pop-up art events in Downtown Delray Beach are encouraged to be open during Art Walk hours and activate your business to welcome visitors.
IDEAS FOR BUSINESS PARTICIPATION:
- Be open during Art Walk hours 6pm - 9pm.
- Extend artwork and merchandise in front of storefront location; items on sidewalk must be within City guidelines.
- Invite an artist to live paint or showcase their work during Art Walk
- Host a live music pop up inside your business
- Offer refreshments, drinks or appetizers
- Offer an interactive art activity
- Remember, NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED OUTSIDE OF STOREFRONT.
GENERAL RULES to PARTICIPATE FOR FREE!
- Register below with your information and plan to be open
- Let us know how you wish to activate
- Display First Friday Art Walk poster and cling in window
- Email your customers about your participation in First Friday Art Walk event
- Galleries, Studios, Cultural Arts Centers and businesses/merchants should be open and ready by 5:30 pm
- Staff and area must remain neat, clean and kept in an orderly fashion. Conduct and displays must be appropriate.
- Remember: NO CBD Products / Delta 8 Products of any kind permitted at Downtown Development Authority events.
NOTE: Businesses who have not notified the DDA of their participation by registration, phone (561-243-1077) or email (DDA@downtowndelraybeach.com AND LFino@downtowndelraybeach.com) by 9:00 am the Wednesday before the event will not be included on the list of participants or Map.
