About the event
The City of Crown Point P.A.C.E Department is committed to providing quality of life amenities through Parks and Recreation, Athletics, Technology and Entertainment to both the City of Crown Point and the greater Northwest Indiana Region. Often times relying on the generosity of individuals like you to continue our work.
At present, our Department is working with the Crown Point Fire Rescue and Bens Blue Bags on a project to bring a mobile sensory room to the Region; allowing area events to provide opportunity for individuals with sensory sensibilities and disabilities a quick refuge. Simply, allowing individuals and families an opportunity to take part in regional activities knowing there is a safe space for those with sensory needs.
Earlier this year, the City of Crown Point’s Board of Public Works and Safety agreed to support this project and to accept donations and equipment for the purpose thereof.
