About the event
The Nashville Renaissance presents Visual Education: a solo exhibit, auction, and fundraiser featuring Dr. David Ikard — artist, author, TedX speaker, and African American & Diaspora Studies Professor at Vanderbilt . This exhibit is sponsored by Soul'd Creative Collective, a local organization of Creatives providing resources for Nashville's creative community. The goal is to provide visual art and poetry workshops for a local school in 2024 to emphasize the importance of art education. All pieces are available for purchase and support the artist. 75% of auctioned piece, 100% of ticket sales, and 100% of donations under "DONATE" section will be used to provide art workshops for local school. There is no limit on how much you can give back to our children. Please read through our "DONATE" section for information on what your contribution provides. Below is the schedule of the event: 5:30pm-Doors open for Pre-mixer 6:00pm-Start of Visual Art Exhibit and Silent Auction. 8:00pm-Closing Exhibit & Silent Auction.
