Tisa Horton is not only the manager for the Austin Theater in Fort Valley but also hosts the famous Georgia Peach Festival. The Georgia Peach Festival is a week-long festival hosted in two Peach cities: Byron and Fort Valley. Georgia ranks third in the nation in annual production of peaches and are arguably the sweetest and tastiest grown in the world. The Georgia Peach Festival started in 1986 to honor peach growers for their contribution to our state's economy and to the food industry nationwide. The festival attracts over 10,000 people each year.
