Yappy Hour is a fluffy, new happy-hour-style event for pet lovers and their pups! The party begins at 5:30 pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton on the Riverfront on Friday, July 26. It features a playful Margaritaville theme, a live Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band, a delicious gourmet menu (for both humans and dogs), handmade “New Bern Bear” dog biscuits—and of course, the best margaritas and tropical drinks in town served at the tiki bar! Hosted by Swiss Bear and the DoubleTree by Hilton on the Riverfront, the festivities will feature one of New Bern’s most stunning waterfront views from the fabulous DoubleTree deck. In addition to the great atmosphere, music, food and drink, the event will also feature doggie play areas, including the “puppy paddle pool” for small dogs and the “terrific toy corner,” as well as custom-made New Bern doggie bandanas, and handmade doggie swag bags with gourmet treats.
