As a Beer Garden Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and enjoyment of the Beer Garden area during Fiestas Patrias. Your responsibilities will include: - Monitoring: Help maintain a safe and friendly atmosphere by monitoring the area for any issues or concerns, and promptly reporting them to event security or coordinators. - Beverage Service Support: Assist bartenders with simple tasks such as restocking supplies, managing empty bottles, and keeping the area clean. - Crowd Management: Help manage lines and ensure smooth traffic flow within the Beer Garden area, directing guests to exits and other event areas as needed. - Bilingual Assistance: Provide support in both English and Spanish to assist non-English speaking guests, ensuring they have a positive experience. - Clean-Up: Assist in maintaining cleanliness throughout the event and during tear-down, ensuring that the area is left in good condition after the event. Requirements: - Must be 21 years of age or older. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to stand and move around for extended periods. - Friendly, approachable demeanor with strong communication skills. - Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred. Time Commitment: Volunteers should be available for a brief orientation via Zoom before the event begins.
