Parade Assistance

Role Overview: As a Parade Assistance Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and successful execution of the Fiestas Patrias parade. You will assist with various tasks along the parade route, including guiding participants, managing crowd control, and providing information to attendees. Key Responsibilities: Participant Coordination: Assist in organizing parade participants at the staging area and ensure they are in the correct order. Route Guidance: Guide parade participants along the designated route, ensuring they stay on course and adhere to the schedule. Crowd Management: Help manage and direct the crowd along the parade route, keeping spectators within designated areas and ensuring pathways remain clear. Information Assistance: Provide information and assistance to parade participants and spectators, including directions and answering general inquiries. Safety Monitoring: Monitor the parade route for any safety issues, and promptly report concerns to event organizers or security personnel. Post-Parade Assistance: Assist with the orderly dispersal of participants and spectators after the parade, helping to clear the route and return the area to its pre-event condition. Time Commitment: Volunteers will need to be available for a briefing before the parade and throughout the duration of the event.
