Set Up Volunteer Role Overview: As a Set Up Assistance Volunteer for Fiestas Patrias, you will play a crucial role in bringing the event to life. Your primary responsibility is to assist with the physical setup of event spaces, ensuring that everything is in place and ready before the festivities begin. Key Responsibilities: - Event Layout Execution: Help set up stages, tents, tables, chairs, and vendor booths according to the event layout plan. - Signage Placement: Assist in placing directional signs, banners, and informational materials throughout the event area. - Equipment Setup: Assist with the setup of audio-visual equipment, lighting, and other necessary event infrastructure. - Vendor Assistance: Help vendors with unloading and setting up their stalls, ensuring they have everything they need. - Coordination: Work closely with the event coordinators and other volunteers to ensure that all setup tasks are completed on time. - Problem-Solving: Address any setup-related issues as they arise, with guidance from the event coordinators. - Arrival: Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift begins for check-in and a quick briefing.
