Westside Market Volunteer Terms & Conditions
By signing up as a volunteer for the 2025 Westside Market, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Volunteer Status
Volunteers are unpaid and serve on a voluntary basis to support the Westside Market.
This volunteer opportunity may be used for community service hours, if applicable, but it is the responsibility of the volunteer to track and obtain any necessary verification.
2. Responsibilities
Volunteers may be assigned various tasks, including but not limited to:
Assisting vendors with loading and unloading their products
Helping maintain cleanliness of the event space
Supporting the Kids Market area to ensure smooth operations
Acting as an Indoor Coordinator for inside vendors
Assisting with trash removal during and after the event
3. Volunteer Conduct
Volunteers must be respectful and courteous to vendors, attendees, fellow volunteers, and market staff.
Volunteers should arrive on time for their scheduled shifts and complete assigned duties to the best of their ability.
Any misconduct, disruptive behavior, or failure to fulfill volunteer duties may result in dismissal from the program.
4. Liability & Assumption of Risk
Volunteers understand that participation in the Westside Market is at their own risk.
The Westside Market, its organizers, sponsors, and affiliates are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or lost/stolen belongings that may occur while volunteering.
Volunteers assume all risks associated with participation and agree to release the Westside Market and its affiliates from any liability.
5. Safety & Compliance
Volunteers must follow all safety guidelines provided by market organizers.
If a volunteer sees any hazards or issues, they should report them to a market coordinator immediately.
6. Photo & Media Release
By volunteering, you grant the Westside Market permission to use photos or videos taken during the event for promotional and marketing purposes.
7. Termination of Volunteer Service
The Westside Market reserves the right to terminate a volunteer’s participation at any time for any reason, including but not limited to failure to adhere to these terms.
