About the event

Each year during the first weekend in May, people gather in the streets of downtown Conway for Toad Suck Daze. The free-admission, family festival has something for all ages: local and national musical entertainment, retail vendors and arts and crafts booths, carnival rides, children’s activities, and of course, the World Championship Toad Races starring our amphibious friends.

About the application

Must love toads...or at least be able to handle them occasionally if necessary! Toad Dome volunteers help with the World-Famous Toad Races. Volunteers may be asked to help to control the racing line, corral runaway toads, and call the winners of races among other duties. This role requires someone who can stand for longer periods of time. All volunteers must check-in at the volunteer check-in booth before reporting to their volunteer location.

Toad Races begin at 10:00 am, so volunteers will finish set-up of the area before other volunteer duties. Other duties during shift include judging Toad Races, helping to corral the racing line, handing out toads, and more.
