Get ready for an action-packed day at Lawrenceville’s Award Winning FREE Comic Book Day, presented in partnership with Galactic Quest! Join us on May 3rd, 2025, from 10 AM to 5 PM, for a celebration of creativity and community. This year’s theme, “Together, We Create,” highlights the collaborative spirit of fandom and the magic of shared imagination. We welcome everyone—whether you’re a seasoned fan or just curious—to join the fun! Wear your favorite costume or cosplay and embark on the #DTLcomicquest for FREE comic books scattered throughout The DTL. Whether you're a cosplayer, sci-fi enthusiast, or fantasy lover, this event offers something for everyone to enjoy! Immerse yourself in the world of comics with expert-led panels and workshops covering comic creation, game development, cosplay, and storytelling. Explore a variety of themed vendors offering unique, character-inspired treasures to enhance your collection. This isn’t just about free comics—it’s a celebration of creativity, fandom, and connection. Everyone is welcome, and we can’t wait to see the community come together for this unforgettable day. About the application

Free Comic Book Day is returning to Downtown Lawrenceville, and this year we’re going bigger than ever before! The event will be held in the heart of Downtown Square, with the City of Lawrenceville hosting a mini-convention at the Lawrenceville Arts Center. Expect panels, workshops, artisan vendors, and so much more. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help run the information booth, check-in, comic giveaways, load-in, and other event needs. Please note: Volunteers must be registered to participate! When filling out your application, be sure to use your personal email address. This ensures that the city can send you all the important details and updates about the event. While we encourage you to wear your Volunteer T-shirts, we also invite you to get creative with your outfits and fully embrace the fun spirit of Free Comic Book Day! As a thank you, volunteers will be entered into a raffle for a MomoCon ticket! You’ll receive your raffle ticket at check-in, and the winner will be announced during our Cosplay Contest. To be eligible for the raffle, you must complete your shift. We can’t wait to see you there—let's make this Free Comic Book Day one to remember!
