Bag Check

Volunteers to be positioned at the Main Entrance. • Volunteer will conduct a “hands off” inspection of handbags, diaper bags, backpacks, etc. by asking our guest to please open their bag and associated compartments to provide clear view of all items so you can ascertain items contained are within our allowable items. • If a guest has a prohibited item, you will advise them they must return the specified item back to their vehicle for the duration of their time at our event. • If a guest prefers, they can leave the prohibited item at Lost & Found (no illegal items or firearms). ADVISE THEM IT WILL BE AT THEIR OWN RISK, AS WE ARE NOT RESPONISBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS. Security To ensure the highest level of safety and security, all guests will be subject to a courteous screening and/or wanding prior to entry via our Private Security Detail Officers. In order to make this process go as smoothly as possible, guests should only bring those things that you absolutely need while attending the event. Volunteers will assist in this area by performing bag checks. All bags and items are subject to inspection. ALLOWABLE ITEMS • Small bags/backpacks no larger than 12” x 12” x 6” • Refillable NON-GLASS water bottles, cups or containers (empty at time of entry) • Baby food or food for persons with medical conditions in approved containers only • Service animals for patrons with disabilities • Single collapsible lawn chairs • Blankets • Umbrellas may be brought in, but you may be asked to put them down in concert areas to allow all guests access to stage viewing. • Non-professional cameras (no removable lens) • Wheelchairs/medical scooters • Strollers PROHIBITED ITEMS • Coolers • Outside food or beverage including water • Glass bottles or glass containers • Pets • Illegal substances • Frisbees, scooters, skateboards, bicycles, skates • Backpacks • Laser products • Sports balls • Water guns • Weapons: knives, firearms, or explosives • Drones For RELIEF: Please contact your Volunteer Coordinator or Jennifer Costello at (561-512-8991). SHIFT CHANGE: Please do not leave your assigned location until the next volunteer comes to replace you.

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST CHECK IN AT THE VOLUNTEER CHECK IN BOOTH LOCATED AT Village of Wellington Town Center, 12100 Forest Hill Blvd. Wellington, Fl 33414. SIGN IN; PICK UP VOLUNTEER T-SHIRT. DRINKS/SNACKS AVAILABLE AT STAFF/VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN. Volunteers must arrive 15 – 30 minutes prior to their shift to ensure that you are at the assigned location to relive prior shift volunteers. Please take time prior to your shift to walk the event and familiarize yourself with the site layout. While performing the duties as stated at your volunteer location: - Volunteers will be required to sit, speak, listen, use hands, handle, or operate devices or tools and reach with hands and arms. - Volunteers may be required to walk and stand for a couple hours at a time. - Volunteers will work outside in various climates and environments. Be dressed for the weather and be prepared if it changes! - Works closely with others. - Be mindful of temperatures and drink/eat as needed – stay hydrated! Bring water, snacks, cooler as needed - If you need a break, please call your coordinator to replace you at your station until you return. - Volunteers should provide cell # to coordinator and have coordinators cell #. Attendees are welcome to bring their own chairs. No coolers or drinks may be brought in. By attending the festival, guests and participants voluntarily assume all and any risks.
