We encourage volunteers to have a meal before their shift. (Drinks and light snacks will be provided in our Hospitality area). Volunteers report directly to the The Clove Manager (LEANNE GRIFFITH) to assist with sales, miscellaneous tasks, and errands throughout the day. Volunteer duties : Sell garlic and consigned items in The Marketplace in The Clove -Ensure that products stay in good order and sold items are restocked. Maintain signage so the price of each item is clear. - Keep an eye on customers and products. Customer service is the best way to deter theft of sale items. - Ring up customers on the iPad provided. Sales Tax is included in the price. However, cc handling fees are applied when using a credit card. We accept cash and credit cards. Cash drawers will be assigned to individuals handling cash for 4 hours shifts. Then duties will rotate to allow for breaks, meals and restroom. - 2 registers will be operating complete with paper, bubble wrap and bags. - Wrap and bag items so they are safe for transport. - Thank each customer and tell them to spread the word about The Clove. Remove the trash and restock products at the end of the evening.

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST CHECK IN AT THE VOLUNTEER CHECK IN BOOTH LOCATED AT Village of Wellington Town Center, 12100 Forest Hill Blvd. Wellington, Fl 33414. SIGN IN; PICK UP VOLUNTEER T-SHIRT. DRINKS/SNACKS AVAILABLE AT STAFF/VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN. Volunteers must arrive 15 – 30 minutes prior to their shift to ensure that you are at the assigned location to relive prior shift volunteers. Please take time prior to your shift to walk the event and familiarize yourself with the site layout. While performing the duties as stated at your volunteer location: - Volunteers will be required to sit, speak, listen, use hands, handle, or operate devices or tools and reach with hands and arms. -Volunteers may be required to walk and stand for a couple hours at a time. -Volunteers will work outside in various climates and environments. Be dressed for the weather and be prepared if it changes! -Works closely with others. -Be mindful of temperatures and drink/eat as needed – stay hydrated! Bring water, snacks, cooler as needed -If you need a break, please call your coordinator to replace you at your station until you return. -Volunteers should provide cell # to coordinator and have coordinators cell #. Attendees are welcome to bring their own chairs. No coolers or drinks may be brought in. By attending the festival, guests and participants voluntarily assume all and any risks.
