Ticket Takers

Volunteers to be positioned at the Main Entrance to WELCOME attendees (with a SMILE) to the South Florida GARLIC FEST. Please thank guest for attending who are leaving the event. -“CLICK” each attendee that enters (clickers provided) -You are required to take tickets (OR printed online ticket), tear in half and place in container provided. -For tickets on phone, scan using tablet provided. You will be trained, and an instructional copy will be taped on your table. -Distribute material provided as handouts for/to guest -Tear tickets and place in container provided. Valid tickets are: 3) We permit entry to any persons with Press Credentials/Badges (Television, Newspaper, Radio) Alert Jennifer Costello FIRST so she can meet them at the gate & allow entry (Cell# 561-512-8991) 4) Main Gate Ticket Takers: Please hand stamp guest that wish to leave temporarily to return same day (Purple – Saturday, Green Sunday). Hand stamps and ink located in bin under your table.

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST CHECK IN AT THE VOLUNTEER CHECK IN BOOTH LOCATED AT Village of Wellington Town Center, 12100 Forest Hill Blvd. Wellington, Fl 33414. SIGN IN; PICK UP VOLUNTEER T-SHIRT. DRINKS/SNACKS AVAILABLE AT STAFF/VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN. Volunteers must arrive 15 – 30 minutes prior to their shift to ensure that you are at the assigned location to relive prior shift volunteers. Please take time prior to your shift to walk the event and familiarize yourself with the site layout. While performing the duties as stated at your volunteer location: - Volunteers will be required to sit, speak, listen, use hands, handle, or operate devices or tools and reach with hands and arms. - Volunteers may be required to walk and stand for a couple hours at a time. - Volunteers will work outside in various climates and environments. Be dressed for the weather and be prepared if it changes! - Works closely with others. - Be mindful of temperatures and drink/eat as needed – stay hydrated! Bring water, snacks, cooler as needed - If you need a break, please call your coordinator to replace you at your station until you return. - Volunteers should provide cell # to coordinator and have coordinators cell #. Attendees are welcome to bring their own chairs. No coolers or drinks may be brought in. By attending the festival, guests and participants voluntarily assume all and any risks.
