NO WEAPONS, BACKPACKS, PETS, COOLERS, OUTSIDE FOOD or BEVERAGES permitted ADMISSION PRICE $15 CHILDREN UNDER 10 FREE TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE! CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER OF MAJOR FUNCTIONS: 1. A member of the “Finance Team” will meet you at your assigned location with your cash drawer and for training. You may be required to complete a Cashier’s Daily Sheet (one page. 4. Your job is to sell ADMISSION tickets, accepting cash or credit (credit by using a tablet). 5. Do not wait for someone to check on your register during your shift. If you need tickets, change or money pick-up, please call for assistance. DO NOT WAIT FOR THE LAST MINUTE, it may take some time to get to you. FOR MONEY COLLECTION: When you call for assistance, state your register number.Do not wait for the last minute, it may take some time to get to you. DO NOT GIVE OUT NUMBERS TO GUEST ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITES AND SOME DO’S AND DONT’S: -Guard your cash drawer. Keep your eyes (and hands/arms if necessary) on you cash drawer at all times. -If you can’t make change for a customer (or run out of change), call a Finance member, numbers above. -Greet each customer with, “Hi, how many tickets would you like?” (A smile helps also.) -Take cash/credit card from customer and hold in your hand or lay on top of cash slots (do not put in cash slot until after you give change to customer). Give customer change and tickets. -Speak to customer as you conduct a transaction to make sure the customer agrees with what you’re doing. For example: “Tickets are $15 each and non-refundable. How many tickets would you like? Thank you!” -You cannot share tickets with another cashier. -Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE (PLEASE STATE THAT WHEN SELLING) -If you need to leave your station for any reason, you must contact your Volunteer Coordinator to relieve you. If your Coordinator is unavailable, please call JENNIFER COSTELLO (561-512-8991). SIGN IN; PICK UP VOLUNTEER T-SHIRT. DRINKS/SNACKS AVAILABLE AT STAFF/VOLUNTEERCHECK-IN. Volunteers must arrive 15 – 30 minutes prior to their shift to ensure that you are at the assigned location to relive prior shift volunteers. Please take time prior to your shift to walk the event and familiarize yourself with the site layout. While performing the duties as stated at your volunteer location: - Volunteers will be required to sit, speak, listen, use hands, handle, or operate devices or tools and reach with hands and arms. -Volunteers may be required to walk and stand for a couple hours at a time. -Volunteers will work outside in various climates and environments. Be dressed for the weather and be prepared if it changes! -Works closely with others. -Be mindful of temperatures and drink/eat as needed – stay hydrated! Bring water, snacks, cooler as needed -If you need a break, please call your coordinator to replace you at your station until you return. -Volunteers should provide cell # to coordinator and have coordinators cell #. Attendees are welcome to bring their own chairs. No coolers or drinks may be brought in. By attending the festival, guests and participants voluntarily assume all and any risks.
