Clean Up Volunteer As a Clean Up Assistance Volunteer for Fiestas Patrias, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our event space is returned to its original condition after the festivities. Your responsibilities will include collecting trash, dismantling temporary structures, and helping with the proper disposal of waste. You will work closely with the Tear Down Team to ensure that all areas, including vendor spaces, the car show area, and the main stage, are left clean and orderly. Your attention to detail and dedication will help us leave a positive impression on the community and maintain a sustainable event environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the collection and disposal of trash and recycling from event areas. - Help with the breakdown and storage of tables, chairs, and other temporary structures. - Ensure that all vendor areas are cleared of debris and returned to pre-event conditions. - Work with the Tear Down Team to manage the efficient and organized clean-up of the event site. - Report any issues or areas needing additional attention to the Volunteer Coordinator. Requirements: - Ability to work on your feet and lift light to moderate loads. - Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment. - A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with other volunteers and event staff. Shift Duration: - Clean Up shifts will begin towards the end of the event and continue until the event site is fully cleaned and cleared.
