About the event

The David M. Carmines Memorial Foundation was established by The Carmines family with a mission to serve the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton community while honoring their son. Through our annual Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival, we work to make a difference in our home and pay tribute to those who have come before us - while sharing some of the best seafood on the Island! Each and every ticket we sell helps to provide funds for non-profits that benefit our beloved Lowcountry, offer meaningful experiences rooted in Southern hospitality, and bring people together with a shared love of seafood. We are proud and humbled to be part of this vibrant community; giving back has never tasted better!

About the application

Pig Picking'& Oyster Roast-Friday, Feb. 21, 2025-EVENT TIME 6:00- 8:30PM Admissions team volunteer shift begins at 5:00PM and ends in or around 9:00 PM. Volunteers in this position assist with guest check in, glassware, wristbands, general welcoming for guests as well as any other needed assistance during that time. We ask that all volunteers remain flexible in your position. Please wear black or navy pants and a white collared shirt for your shift.

Check-in for Pitmaster Class attendees, scan tickets, wristband attendees, assisst throughout the class with distributing tastings, etc. As this class will extend through to the Pig Pickin' / Oyster Roast event, position will transition to assist Admissions for Pig Pickin'/ Oyster Roast. This position may change as event needs change. Please be flexible.
Set Up Team	Coastal Discovery Museum - 70 Honey Horn Drive, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926	Feb 21, 2025 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm	3	4
Assist event organizers in placing signage, linens, etc. Assists vendors, if needed, for their set up, unloading, etc. This position may change as event needs change. Please be flexible. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes. Volunteers for this position have complimentary admission to Saturday's event.

Welcome guests, check tickets for check in, wristband attendees, distribute glassware, light crowd control. For this event, Admissions is fast paced. This position may be changed due to changing event needs. Please be flexible.

Greet guests at your station, open wine / liquor for pouring (if applicable), maintain appropriate pour level for guests, assist in water stations, keep station clean & tidy, answer questions, give direction to restrooms. This position may be changed due to changing event needs. Please be flexible.

Assist guests with any questions regarding auction items, bidding process , etc. This position requires walking / standing during most of the event time frame. iPad experience a plus. Work with event organizers during event, as requested, in other event positions as needed. The position may be changed due to changing event needs. Please be flexible.
