Bishop Bazaar Volunteer

Interested in volunteering at the Bishop Bazaar? We'd love to have you join us! Volunteers can decide between a few different roles, or opt to help out in several different capacities. It's up to you! Keep reading for descriptions of different volunteer roles, keeping in mind that responsibilities within each role is dependent upon the volunteer shift selected. Vendor Support: Welcoming and greeting vendors, assisting with vendor check-in, directing vendors to their assigned booth locations at arrival, answering questions, aiding in set up if necessary, handing out waters, and supporting vendors throughout the day. Setup & Breakdown: Assist event organizers with the setup or breakdown of the event. Setting up signage, prepping the green areas, moving furniture/supplies, set up/breakdown vendor check-in booth and informational booth, and assisting organizers to ensure a streamlined set up/breakdown process. Lot's of heavy lifting is involved with this role! Bishop Bazaar Informational Booth: This role is perfect for all the social butterflies! Here you would remain at the Bishop Bazaar info booth and greet attendees, answer questions, keep the bottled water stocked in the cooler, and enjoy all the great vibes the Bishop Bazaar has to offer!

NON EMPLOYEE STATUS:Volunteers are not employees of the Bishop Bazaar and are not entitled to benefits, taxes, or unemployment or workers' compensation. LIABILITY WAIVER: Volunteers must sign a waiver of liability to acknowledge that they assume the risk of injury or illness while volunteering, and that they are not entitled to payment for their work. TRAINING: Volunteers may need to complete training or induction for their role. We will provide an informational sheet of all the details you need to know. RULES: Volunteers must follow all rules of the Bishop Bazaar. MEDIA CONSENT: Volunteers may grant permission to be photographed or recorded for promotional purposes. We ask that all vendors and attendees refrain from promoting any events not produced by Exxir Capital / Bishop Bazaar. Failure to comply with this policy will result in removal from the event. We also reserve the right to remove any vendor or host organizing/soliciting a similar event at our events. This policy is in place to ensure the success and quality of the Bishop Bazaar.
