Whether you're far from family or simply seeking a sense of community, we invite you to be part of our inclusive Thanksgiving pre-celebration. At Rainbow Feast, we believe that Thanksgiving is about more than just a meal; it's about forging connections, creating new friendships, and making plans for a joyful holiday season together. Our goal is to provide a space where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and embraced, creating a sense of belonging during this special time of year. We will also have our Rainbow Wardrobe available for you to shop for free gender affirming clothing!

About the application

We are looking for volunteers for Rainbow Feast! This pre-holiday celebration provides an opportunity for LGBTQ+ community members who may not have holiday plans to come together, share a meal, make new connections, and maybe even find others to make holiday plans with!

Shifts

Help with set-up of wardrobe, educate attendees on the wardrobe, assist attendees with picking out clothes, putting clothes back that are not selected, assist attendees with bagging clothes, assist with tear-down of wardrobe.
Food Volunteer	Nov 22, 2024 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm	0	3
Assist caterer with set-up, serve food in buffet line, restock buffet, pick up plates/cups from tables, assist with clean-up
Mingling Volunteer	Nov 22, 2024 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm	1	3
Ensure that attendees know where to go, sit with attendees who are sitting alone, encourage attendees to sit with each other and socialize.
