About the event

Join us for the second annual Cops and Cones event! A Motor Training & Skills Course event where police officers and civilians alike showcase their motorcycle prowess across three challenging courses: the Slow Ride, Precision, and Speed competitions. This exciting three-day event offers competitors ample opportunity to train each morning from 8 AM to 1 PM, with competitions taking place each afternoon. Spectators are invited to join us on Saturday, October 5th, for the final day of training and competition. Saturday's festivities will be packed with fun for the whole family, featuring food trucks, music, children's activities, a car show sponsored by Beyond the Ribbon, and the awards ceremony for the entire competition. Don't miss this action-packed event filled with skill, speed, and community spirit!

About the application

Volunteers will arrive to Cops and Cones to assist the Events Team in various activities such as, but not limited to, load-in, check-in assistance, beautification, sanitization, and much more. Please join us this year, as we are in search of incredible volunteers to ensure a successful event in our community. Volunteers will receive T-shirts for their assistance, but sizes are limited. Volunteers must be registered in order to volunteer! To ensure safety, volunteers must adhere to guidelines placed by the city, guidelines which include the wearing of the mask at all times, temperature checks prior to the shift, & the proper use of gloves onsite.

Terms & Conditions

See attached. Masks are required by staff & volunteers day of event. Staff & Volunteers temperature will be taken upon arrival. Extra hand washing/sanitizing stations will be available. Please practice social distancing when attending city events. If experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home.
