Volunteer Benefits: • Free admission to the convention on the day that you work • Free admission every day of the convention if you work for 10 hours or more • An exclusive Animate! Volunteer t-shirt • An exclusive volunteer badge/button • A private volunteer breakroom • Free pizza and bottled water while you are on your breaks Application Instructions: • You may select up to 3 departments that you would be interested in volunteering for. You will be placed into a department based on need and availability. • You may be reassigned to a different department if necessary. • Select only the days and timeframes that you are available. • The times shown are approximate, but you will be placed close to that time of day. • You may select multiple shifts and consecutive shifts. • We depend on volunteers and schedule coverage based on your commitment. Please do not apply to volunteer if you do not plan on showing up. • We understand that some circumstances are out of your control. If you are unable to show up for a scheduled shift, please try to let us know as soon as possible. This will not reflect negatively on future volunteer opportunities. • Please upload a clear picture of your face with your application. This is for internal use of GalaxyCon/Animate! staff only. The picture remains on your profile and is mainly used at check-in. In some cases, it may be used by staff members to locate a volunteer.
