Thank you for being interested in volunteering for the 2024 Holiday Tree Lighting!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited too, assisting with setup and breakdown of the area you are overseeing, providing information and assistance to guests, support vendors as needed, etc.
Terms & Conditions
Volunteers must be 15 or older and are registered as a volunteer through the City of Boynton Beach's HR department (https://weblink.bbfl.us/Forms/Volunteer)
*please note: supervision is required for 15 & 16yrs old. If someone is not available to oversee the area, your application may not be chosen.
1. Volunteers must possess an enthusiastic and friendly demeanor.
2. Volunteers must possess an ability to work as part of a team.
3. Volunteers must possess the willingness to be outdoors for extended periods.
4. Volunteers must attend a pre-event meeting prior to the event date.
5. Volunteers are expected to fulfill their scheduled shifts. If you are unable to attend, notice must be given ahead of time.
6. Shifts may vary; flexibility is appreciated.
7. Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing.
8. Alcohol or drug use during shifts is prohibited.
9. Volunteers must adhere to all health and safety guidelines outlined during training.
10. Any accidents or injuries must be reported immediately to the events staff.
11. Volunteers must read and sign the participation waiver linked below.
