About the event

Join us for the 50th anniversary of Mountain Heritage Day! Mountain Heritage Day is a one-day, free outdoor festival where 15,000 plus visitors enjoy live entertainment, over 120 booths including unique demonstrators, juried arts and crafts, a wide variety of food, and tons of family-friendly activities celebrating Appalachian Mountain culture. The festival is a gift from Western Carolina University to the community, and everyone from everywhere is welcome to attend. This family-oriented festival shows how much we value this incredible, beautiful region we call home and its diverse culture and history. SEPTEMBER 28 MOUNTAIN HERITAGE DAY!!! (10 A.M. - 4 P.M.)

About the application

You will be stationed at the volunteer headquarter check-in station, where all volunteers will check in and out of their shifts. You will assist in checking volunteers in, including having them sign a waiver, giving them a tee shirt, and helping them find their station.

Terms & Conditions

Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. Volunteers must sign a volunteer and photo/video release waiver before their shift. Volunteers must review an orientation video sent to them via email close to the date of the event and the files below.
