About the event

Join us for the 50th anniversary of Mountain Heritage Day! Mountain Heritage Day is a one-day, free outdoor festival where 15,000 plus visitors enjoy live entertainment, over 120 booths including unique demonstrators, juried arts and crafts, a wide variety of food, and tons of family-friendly activities celebrating Appalachian Mountain culture. The festival is a gift from Western Carolina University to the community, and everyone from everywhere is welcome to attend. This family-oriented festival shows how much we value this incredible, beautiful region we call home and its diverse culture and history. SEPTEMBER 28 MOUNTAIN HERITAGE DAY!!! (10 A.M. - 4 P.M.)

About the application

You will work directly with the performers, helping them in any way necessary. This could mean getting water and equipment and giving directions on where to go. You may also help answer audience questions or address their needs. This position needs someone who is flexible and willing to do "other duties as assigned."

Terms & Conditions

Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. Volunteers must sign a volunteer and photo/video release waiver before their shift. Volunteers must review an orientation video sent to them via email close to the date of the event and the files below.
