Crystal River Parade Volunteers

The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to host the 2024 Patriotic Christmas Parade in Crystal River on Saturday, December 7th, and we would love for you to join us as a volunteer! Volunteers are essential to making this festive event a success, and your help would be greatly appreciated! Volunteer Opportunities for the Crystal River Parade – Saturday, December 7th Thank you for your interest in helping with the Crystal River Parade! We’re excited to have your support in making this event a success. Below are the available shifts and duties for the day: Available Shifts and Duties: Set-Up: 🕗 8:00 am – 11:00 am Assist with setting up signs, trash cans, the judges’ area, fencing, and the check-in area. Check-In: 🕐 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm Greet participants, check them in, tape numbers to vehicles/banners, and guide them to their assigned roads. Staging: 🕐 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm Help line up participants on 3rd, 4th, or 5th Street in the correct order. End of Parade Exiting: 🕔 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm Remove numbers from participants and assist with their safe exit from the parade. Clean-Up: 🕕 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm Help pick up signs, trash cans, fencing, and other items from the judges’ area and check-in area. Parade Walkers: 🕕 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm Walk alongside the parade to ensure it runs smoothly with no gaps or delays. How to Sign Up: Please reply to this email with your preferred shift(s) and duty.
