Parade Volunteer

As a volunteer, you are the key to making this event a success! In this role, you will help to direct participants and attendees at the staging area and/or along the parade route. Responsibilities may include set-up, assisting and directing participants, helping with balloon arch or rainbow decor on the route, and other misc. responsibilities. Please check-in at the corner of S. Virginia Street and Commercial. (Across from The Row)

This team will assemble either a balloon installation or hanging flags along the route Once complete this team will move to help keep the flow of the parade. Please check-in at the corner of S. Virginia Street and Commercial. (Across from The Row)

These positions will be on Virginia and going between the Zones to help and pass around information. They will be on the move. The best volunteers for this shift are people that like to be active.

To be a part of this team you will be on your bike, skates, scooter, skateboard, chair moving up and down the street to maintain the crowd, answer questions and bring your flair. You should feel very comfortable on your mobile device. Please check-in at the corner of S. Virginia Street and Commercial. (Across from The Row)

Helping set up Announcer Stands an Prep the route. Could be a variety of tasks. Once the Parade begins you will be stationed along the route to keep things enjoyable, Once complete we will take down all signs, set ups and stack them.
