About the event

Project Pride SRQ, Senior Friendship Center, & Golden Girls Solutions present “Silver Pride Sarasota,” celebrating LGBTQ+ aged 50 and better! We will celebrate our senior members of the LGBTQ+ community, and this FREE event will feature live music, vendors, food trucks, and more from community partners.

About the application

We are looking for 60 volunteers to support Silver Pride in pre-event setup (Friday evening), daytime shifts (2), and an evening breakdown crew. Swag Bag Stuffing: Help assemble swag bags on June 4th at SCF from 2-4 PM. Venue Preparation: Set the stage for an unforgettable event by helping with venue setup and decoration. Check-in Assistants: Be the welcoming face of Project Pride SRQ by assisting with guest check-ins and providing warm greetings. Ambassadors: Guide and accompany guests throughout the afternoon, ensuring they have a seamless and enjoyable experience. Bar Support: Support the bar in preparing and selling drinks (must be 21 years old) Golf Cart Chauffeur: Help transport folks who need assistance from the parking lot to SCF. 30 min shifts. Must have a valid drivers license. Closing Crew: Help wrap up the event by assisting with closing activities and ensuring the venue is left in pristine condition.
