Queer Prom Assistant

Rainbow Alley is hosting our annual Queer Prom with the theme Magical Rainforest. There will be dancing, music, youth drag performances and food! We are looking for 8-10 volunteers to help with set-up, tear-down and managing different spaces throughout the event. Volunteers are encouraged to dress in the theme of the prom! Duties and Responsibilities We are looking for volunteers who are willing to: • Help with set-up and tear down of the event on that day • Check in guests from a list provided by coordinator • Monitor quiet rooms and food stations • Help report any issues that may arise to the coordinator

Qualifications: • Passing criminal history background check • Able to work in a loud environment with up to 120 youth at a time • Able and comfortable lifting up to 35 lbs
