SEPTEMBER 13 - 15, 2024 One of Toronto’s premier art exhibitions, ArtWalk in the Square is a great place to connect with artists and buy that perfect piece for your home! ArtWalk in the Square is a three-day, public fine art exhibition at the CF Shops at Don Mills. With established and emerging artists exhibiting painting, photography, mixed media, printmaking, drawing, glass and sculpture, in a juried show featuring ONLY fine art. CF Shops at Don Mills is where fashion, dining and entertainment come outside to play. Visit Ontario’s first and finest open-air centre with exceptional shops, restaurants and services surrounding a lovely Town Square. Volunteer at ArtWalk in the Square! Are you excited about arts and volunteering? ArtWalk in the Square is only made possible by our dedicated volunteers who give their hands, time and expertise to make this event happen. Volunteering, is a great way to support the arts, meet amazing people, gain insight into the workings of an outdoor show, learn about the Artists' Network and shape the outdoor arts in Toronto. Our team includes a diverse group of people and we encourage people of any ability, background or experience to apply. We provide detailed training, and food and beverage onsite. Have FUN, gain incredible experience, add something interesting to your CV and earn community service hours. JOIN THE TEAM TODAY! Pre-Event The show starts long before show date. Collaborate with organizers on marketing the event and distribute postcards and posters key areas. Help with administration and put together artist packages. Logistics An important role in helping with the production of the show. Help with marking the grounds, be in the loading zones and overnight storage area and help direct artist. Set up the the signage and the Artists' Network booth. Event Greeters Be the face of the Fair! Know that fair guide, event activity and Artists' Network well and provide direction and information to visitors. Artist Support & Information Booth Assistants Support artists during the exhibition. Help get them registered, set up the "I Gave Art" gallery, provide relief and watch their booth, hand out materials, and assist as needed throughout the day. Media Assistants Are you looking to build your portfolio? We are looking for savvy social media students and influencers to come out and capture the event energy and work in our VIP wrapping station. You will be helping to put together the Artists' Packages which contain all of the information for the exhibiting artists at the show. This is fun, and you'll get to meet all of the show team.

The show must go on! Rain or sunshine we will be loading in artists and getting ready for show opening. Artists are required to drive up, unload and then go park their cars before they move their materials to their tent. Our job is to watch over their materials while they do this, and ensure they have a smooth load in, moving on any cars who stay longer than their allotted time. This role does not require any lifting or carrying.

Day 1! Everyone is excited and our volunteers play a crucial role for our artists once the show begins. We help our artists get comfortable in their spaces, and support them when they need to step away from their tents.

Without you, our visitors won't know where to go! You'll be handing out flyers to visitors as they enter and encouraging them to check our our exhibition.
