About the event

Celebrating community through music on the porches of Virginia Highland! Kick-start the day with our Rock n Run at 11 am. Then, enjoy some of the best local bands and musicians in town on the lovely porches around the neighborhood from 12 pm to 6 pm with a finale performance from 6-7 pm in John Howell Park.

If you'd like to volunteer, please email events@virginiahighlanddistrict.com by 10pm on Friday, May 17. Virginia Highland Porchfest is back on May 18 2024! Please check out the available volunteer opportunities. We appreciate you helping us bring this event together once again! All volunteers will receive an exclusive Porchfest t-shirt, a ticket for a free drink from concessions, and a complimentary Porchfest branded koozie. Want to volunteer to the max? Sign up for a second (non-overlapping) shift and get an additional free drink ticket.

Terms & Conditions

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your shift and stay for the scheduled duration. Volunteers are required to attend a 1-hr meeting (virtual) on Monday, May 13 at 7 pm in order to become acquainted with the event details.
