Roles and Responsibilities: Volunteers are expected to fulfill assigned roles, which may include event setup, attendee assistance, managing specific areas, or other tasks as designated by the event coordinators.
Conduct: All volunteers must adhere to professional standards of conduct, treat all attendees and fellow staff with respect, and uphold the inclusive values of ImmerseCon.
Training and Briefing: Volunteers are required to participate in a pre-event training session and adhere to all guidelines provided during the briefing.
Time Commitment: Volunteers agree to be available for the duration of their assigned shifts and responsibilities during the event.
Safety and Liability: Volunteers should follow all safety guidelines. ImmerseCon is not liable for personal injuries or damage to personal property incurred during volunteer activities.
Cancellation Policy: Volunteers must notify the ImmerseCon team in advance if they are unable to attend or fulfill their duties.
Benefits: While volunteer positions are unpaid, volunteers gain valuable experience, network opportunities, and other event-specific perks.
