The Homewood-Flossmoor Juneteenth Festival organized by You Matter 2 is a celebration of African American culture as expressed through food, music, dance, and arts. About the application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 4th Annual Homewood-Flossmoor Juneteenth Festival & 3rd Annual Juneteenth Parade! Volunteers are a critical competent of any event and we are happy to have your help! There will be many volunteer opportunities available before and during the festival. If you have any questions, please email volunteer@hfjuneteenthfestival.com.

Terms & Conditions

I agree to arrive to my rostered shift(s) on time and to advise the Homewood-Flossmoor Juneteenth Festival (HFJF) staff well in advance if my availability for rostered shifts changes. I agree to work under the guidance and supervision of the Homewood-Flossmoor Juneteenth Festival staff. I agree to arrive to my first rostered shift 15 minutes before the scheduled staff so as to be informed of the particulars of the role and the venue. I will not arrive to a rostered shift under the influence of alcohol or drugs. I agree to advise Homewood-Flossmoor Juneteenth Festival staff if I am unable or uncomfortable completing tasks that have been assigned to me. We will be understanding of these requests, just give us as much notice as possible. I agree to inform my supervisor immediately of any injuries sustained while undertaking volunteering activities. As a member of the Homewood-Flossmoor Juneteenth Festival volunteer team, I will do my best to provide correct information and a positive attitude to all members of the public I deal with throughout the festival. I agree to work in a constructive and cooperative way with HFJF staff and comply with any safety procedures as requested. I understand that I am volunteering my services to HFJF and will not receive any remuneration for my services.
