ERM STAFF- Info Booths

Report to INFO BOOTH COODINATOR for direction. • Prior to opening, arrange the tent with various items. • Manage and direct volunteers • Greet guests, provide information about the event and activities, & offer handouts and giveaways • Activity Outline will be provided for reference when speaking with guests • HANDOUTS: tote bags, 2024 LWL Calendars, LWL Activity Booklet – only to children • Coordinator (Sandra) will assist with guests and provide items to be handed to participants at the INFO Booths

PLEASE CHECK IN AT THE VOLUNTEER CHECK IN BOOTH LOCATED AT THE SW CORNER OF POST PARK, LOCATED ON FERN ST & S. FLAGLER DR. SIGN IN; PICK UP VOLUNTEER T-SHIRT. Must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their shift to ensure that you are at the correct assigned location. Volunteers should take time prior to your shift to walk the event and familiarize yourself with the layout. While performing the duties as stated at your location: - Required to work LagoonFest from 7:00am to 3:30 pm. Breaks will be provided. - Bring reusable water bottle, your lunch or money to purchase food at the LagoonFest or WPB Green Market right next door to LagoonFest. - If you need a break, at a specific time, please contact your coordinator - Please provide cell # to coordinator and have coordinators cell #. - Prepare to frequently sit, speak, listen, use hands, handle, or operate devices or tools and reach with hands and arms. - May be required to walk and stand for a few hours at a time. - Works outside in various climates and environments. Be dressed for the weather and be prepared if it changes! - Works closely with others. - Be mindful of temperatures and drink/eat as needed – stay hydrated! Bring water, snacks, cooler as needed - In case of a Life-Threatening Emergency: Please call 911 For general FIRST AID, please direct to one of our North or South INFORMATION BOOTHS OR VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN; First Aid Kit will have limited items. ** IF YOU SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING: report any emergencies or suspicious activity to nearest West Palm Beach Police Officer immediately.
