About the event

Peoria Proud, and its producing partners, proudly present the 2023 River City Pride Festival. The River City Pride Festival, one of our key programs, is a day-long event of engaging programming and festivities to support awareness of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and allied (LGBTQA) community of Peoria, IL, and the greater Central Illinois area. In 2022, our inaugural event at Riverfront Park hosted 30 vendors and sponsors and boasted 5,000 attendees throughout the course of the day. The 2023 event will be expanding its footprint along the riverfront park, and we are excited to have you join us. Peoria Proud encourages and supports diversity and equality throughout the Peoria Metropolitan Area. The coalition seeks to unify the community as a whole, through advocacy, education, and social outreach.

About the application

Thank you for your willingness to volunteer. Please be sure to complete this form in its entirety. There are lots of shifts for all ages and abilities in increments of four (4) hours. If you need accomodations please let us know. This is not a problem and we will do our best to ensure you are able to fulfill your shift.
