About the event

West Texas's biggest summer pop culture event is back and hotter than ever. Permian Basin Comic Con: Heatwave brings together fans of comics, anime, gaming, cosplay, and collectibles for two full days at Midland Horseshoe Arena. We're looking for vendors, artists, and small businesses to fill our exhibitor floor. If you sell comics, trading cards, anime merch, handmade art, prints, collectibles, or anything the geek community loves, we want you here. Applications are open now. Spots are limited, so apply early and secure your space at one of West Texas's most anticipated summer shows.

About the application

Volunteers are the skeleton on which the convention is built. We are responsible for set up, tear down, and every task in between both great and small! While it is a lot of work it is also extremely rewarding. Volunteers will work closely with others in their department as well as coordinators to tackle tasks, take care of guests, assist our team of celebrities and talent, and even set up tech and demos for onsite attractions. Perks for Volunteering are hour based and subject to availability. All Volunteers receive 1 Badge that grants access to the show for all days. Lunch and drinks will be provided. Our minimum shift requirement for approval is 8 hours. If you intend to work Guest Relations you will need all day availability.

Terms & Conditions

All Volunteers must adhere to ALL convention policies, including our Zero Tolerance Harassment Policy. (https://con-live.com/conduct-policy) (https://con-live.com/prop-policy) Normal attire is required during your shift. Closet cosplays may be acceptable for some positions, feel free to ask. It should be noted that Guest Relations does not allow cosplay of any kind while on shift.
