This agreement releases Fandom Charities Inc., The Hellmouth 2022, and Hilton Los Angeles Airport from all liability relating to injuries that may occur while volunteering personal time for the convention.
By accepting, I agree to hold Fandom Charities Inc., The Hellmouth 2022 and Hilton Los Angeles Airport entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.
If you are approved to be a member of The Hellmouth Team, you will be granted access to our Slack Team, and/or a thehellmouth.org email address. Any information sent, received, or stored on either of these platforms may be accessed by The Hellmouth Convention Committee members or Fandom Charities board members should the need arise to resolve internal volunteer disputes, or due to complaints made by members of the public. If you don't want someone else potentially reading something, don't use the team email or Slack team to send or store it.
I acknowledge the risks involved in Volunteer Work. These include but are not limited to fatigue, stress, and personal injury. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to me. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity.
I acknowledge that I am not an employee of The Hellmouth 2022 / Fandom Charities Inc., and that in exchange for volunteer hours I am receiving no monetary compensation.
I acknowledge I forfeit all rights to bring a suit against Fandom Charities Inc., The Hellmouth 2022 and Hilton Los Angeles Airport for any reason. I will also make every effort to obey safety precautions as listed in writing and as explained to me verbally. I will ask for clarification when needed.
I agree to follow any and all terms and conditions/policies listed on Convention Policies page. I understand that these policies may be updated at anytime with or without notice, and I will be held to the version that is currently posted at the time of the convention.
If the person this application is being submitted for is under the age of 18, the person filling it out must be there parent or legal guardian. By submitting this application, you agree to all the terms and conditions listed above.
