-Respect and Inclusivity:
We encourage all volunteers to be respectful and inclusive of everyone participating in the parade. This event is about celebrating culture, unity, and pride, and we ask that all volunteers uphold these values.
-Safety First:
Your safety is our priority! Please follow all instructions provided by parade organizers and staff. Stay with the group and be aware of your surroundings throughout the event.
-Flag Carrying and Parade Participation:
Volunteers will have the opportunity to carry a flag and walk alongside the Orange County Government float. Please be mindful of the float’s route and avoid distractions while participating.
-Dress Code:
Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and shoes for walking. We recommend you bring sunscreen and water, as the weather can vary. No political or controversial statements on clothing or banners.
-Event Schedule
Please be on time! We ask volunteers to to ensure we’re ready arrive on time to participate in the parade. Detailed instructions will be provided closer to the event date.
-Communication:
We’ll stay in touch with volunteers via email leading up to the event with important updates and reminders. Be sure to check your inbox for any last-minute information.
-Photography:
By participating in this event, you may appear in photos or videos taken during the parade. These photos may be used for promotional purposes. If you have any concerns, please let us know ahead of time.
-Weather:
The parade will take place rain or shine, so please be prepared for all types of weather. If there are any major changes to the event due to unforeseen circumstances, we will inform you as soon as possible.
