Virginia Highland Winterfest is a 2-day festival that kicks off with a Tour of Lights Block Party on Friday, December 13, featuring vibrant lights and decorations, festive beverages, and live music. On Saturday, December 14, the festivities continue with a 2-mile Jingle Jog, followed by a lively Holiday Parade. The day will rev up with one of the biggest in-town holiday gift markets, with live music and a Kids Corner to pair.

Get ready to jingle all the way at Winterfest's annual Jingle Jog! This 2.2-mile fun run is perfect for all ages, kicking off at 9 am at University Dr and Lanier Blvd and looping back around at Los Angeles Ave. Each ticket includes a free drink voucher (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), and we'll provide jingle bells for runners to wear. Festive holiday outfits are highly encouraged! Kids under 12 run for free, so bring the whole family and get in the holiday spirit!

Light up your holiday season at the Virginia Highland District's Tour of Lights Block Party! Join us for a festive evening filled with the best lit street in VaHi, REAL-LIFE REINDEER, live music by Almost Famous, festive food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of hot cocoa and s'mores to keep you warm. The festivities will take place on December 13 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Arlington Place. Kids under 13 get in free, and all ticket sales are final. Don’t miss this delightful night of holiday cheer!

Celebrate the season with us by joining the Winterfest Holiday Parade! On December 14, we’ll bring Lanier Blvd to life with festive floats, lively music, and jolly costumes from 10 to 11 am.

 

The parade starts at the intersection of Lanier Blvd and University Dr and concludes at Los Angeles Ave. Please arrive at least one hour before the parade begins. The parade will end where the Gift Market begins, so you can enjoy some holly-jolly shopping right after.
