About the application

Beats on the Streets is looking for small business owners and independent artist who specialize in clothing, home décor, jewelry, soap, candles, digital art, sculptures, paintings, art prints, photos, hand-made items, and embroidery. If your business does not sell any of the examples not to worry as long as you are an independent creator/seller who is not connected to a major corporation and is looking to sell tangible products, you would fill out this application.

If your business is connected to a large corporation/franchised business, if you are looking to sell a service or intangible product, or if you are classified as a non-profit please do not continue with this application.

Beats on the streets is a 12 week long event running every thursday of May, June, and July. With every third thursday of each month being a dedicated to having a pop-up market for artisansl By filling out this application you are committing to attending the May 18th artisan market.

The events take place from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm and artisans will be responsible for bringing their own tables, chairs, and tents (if needed). You must be set-up and ready to greet the public by 5:00 PM

About the event

Have you heard the beat on the street? Every Thursday night from May to June, the DTL comes alive after five with a new DJ and Art Series! Come hungry for restaurant specials, sidewalk sales, patio dancing, community building, and a unique “mix” of art in the historic Downtown Lawrenceville Square. The line-up will feature an eclectic line up featuring some of the best DJs in the region along with multiple mediums of art and performances. On the third Thursday of each month, businesses are encouraged to stay open late with a special sidewalk sale and art vendors will pop up throughout the square.

Vendor Criteria: - Vendors must adhere to City Event Safety Guidelines, https://www.downtownlawrencevillega.com/health-and-safety/

Vendors must provide all necessary equipment for booth space (10x10 tent, table, chairs, etc.)

We will have an exclusive alcohol vendor on site. All other vendors are not permitted to sell alcohol.

Vendors must select the proper vendor fee for their specific space needs. If you have selected the wrong vendor fee your fee will be updated for the correct size before approval.

Vendors looking to use power must select to pay the Electricity Fee before submitting their application. Only vendors who request and pay for electricity will be considered for it. However, power is not guaranteed for any of our events and if you are approved without access to electricity we will not process that part of your payment.

The City of Lawrenceville"s events are always packed full of fun and sometimes noisy activities. This means that at any event you may be in an area that is crowded, loud, and exposed to the environment. Vendors must be prepared to endure any and all circumstances during an event, as we will not have the ability to adjust your placement during the event.

Vendor placement is decided by the Event Coordinators before the event. Vendors may not receive their placement until the day of the event but should receive a general event map to give you an idea of what to expect upon arrival.

The City of Lawrenceville approves vendors on a First-Come First Serve Basis.
