Exhibiting and Jurying Guide:
- No food or drink may be sold by arts and crafts vendors; no art or craft items may be sold by food vendors.
- All crafts sold during the event must be the original handiwork of the participant. No imports or manufactured items will be accepted. Works may incorporate some commercially produced parts, but the work’s design and execution must primarily the product of exhibiting artist/crafter’s skill.
- Craft demonstrations are encouraged but are not required. Be advised electricity will not be available. Please make note on application if you plan to demonstrate your craft.
- Participants must provide all they need to exhibit their work: tables, chairs, shelves, shims, shade, etc. This is an outdoor event held during daylight hours. Vendors must provide and use appropriate equipment to secure their booth canopy/tent against high winds. 40lbs total per canopy/tent are advised. All booth spaces are on a paved street.
- Booths must be open for sales during the entire event. Booths cannot be shared or transferred. Multiple booths may be purchased with a discount after the first booth. Vehicles are not allowed in the event area, therefore booth set up must be completed and vehicles moved 30 minutes prior to event start time.
- Work exhibited during the event must be consistent with the application images submitted by the artist. Destination Downtown Mebane reserves the right to remove any work in question from the show, as well as the exhibitor if event guidelines are not followed. Items the event committee considers illegal or immoral will not be allowed.
- DDM’s event committee is responsible for accepting or rejecting any application. You will be notified of the
committee’s decision once your application is received. We reserve the right to refuse any vendor. All decisions are final. THERE IS NO WAITING LIST.
