CHECK IN: When you arrive, check in at the Concession tent or call 508-868-6290 FIRST. Booth assignments are at the sole discretion of the Producer and Craft Coordinator.
ID BADGES: To be issued an I.D. Pass the Vendor must have paid all fees due, and submitted the necessary information on their employees. ID-Badges must be carried at all times. Employees that quit or are fired are required to return their I.D. pass to the booth owner.
VEHICLE SITE ACCESS: NO SPEEDING! Speed limit of 5 MPH is enforced at all times. Please unload quickly and remove your vehicle promptly. On Festival days all vehicles must be off-site by 10:00 a.m. and cannot re-enter until the Festival is clear of patrons. During and after rain, vehicles will not be allowed on site.
GENERAL ACCESS: No one is allowed on the Festival site after closing without a valid Festival ID. All after hour gatherings must have prior approval from Festival Administration. Any participant in possession of a valid festival ID has the right to ask anyone walking through the site or backstage for their pass. The Festival has a “See Something, Say Something” Policy.
GENERAL FESTIVAL GUIDELINES: Everyone is encouraged to work to support the Festival’s Steampunk theme by maintaining period dialect, dress and decorum. Steampunk/Victorian theme decor are suggested. Costuming is encouraged for all booth/truck personnel including spouses, children and employees. ABSOLUTELY no smoking or cell phone use (unless used for transaction pricessing) in view of the patrons. Do not leave cigarette butts behind.
ALCOHOL/ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES: We have a NO TOLERANCE POLICY for consumption of alcohol by participants during festival hours and use of non-prescribed drugs of any kind at any time. Disturbances resulting from “being under the influence” will not be tolerated. Anyone creating such a disturbance will be removed by police.
ANY PHYSICAL ALTERCATION WILL RESULT IN ONE, BOTH, OR ALL PARTIES INVOLVED BEING REMOVED FROM THE FESTIVAL PERMANENTLY!
HOURS OF OPERATION: All booths must be open continuously from 10:30 AM until the site has been cleared of patrons on weekends, and on School Day from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
WEATHER: The Festival is open for business rain or shine. Please be prepared to protect your product in case of inclement weather. You may not close your booth without consent of administration. If the weather is severe enough that the Festival needs to close, the decision will be communicated by Festival management. Due to seasonal weather, all tents must be anchored with stakes, sandbags or water barrels. Please take all necessary and appropriate steps to ensure the public is safe in your booth at all times!!
SIGNAGE: In keeping with the theme, we encourage all booths/trucks to have visible period style signage. A painted or carved wood sign or a prominently displayed fabric banner (which could also be used for the parade), are recommended, but not required.
LOST AND FOUND: Found items should be taken directly to the Concessions Booth inside of the Festival or given to Admin personnel. Lost items will be held by Admin until claimed.
LOST CHILDREN: Should be taken directly to the nearest staff member, or the concession booth.
PATRONS: This is a family show. The use of profanity is strictly prohibited. If there is a problem with a patron, quietly report it to a security staff member or the closest staff member with a radio.
COURTESY: Please be considerate of other participants. Do not interrupt stage shows, musical presentations/bits or demonstrations by Artisans or Encampments.
OBSERVANCE OF LAWS: Everyone is expected to abide by all applicable laws, regulations, ordinances (including, but not limited to, those relating to health, safety and fire prevention) and all instructions, rules and regulations provided by the Festival.
MAIL: There is no mail or package delivery at the Festival site. RECORDINGS/PHOTOS: The vendor hereby waives all rights to photographs, audio and video recordings, and illustrations made in conjunction with the Festival.
