Traveling Artisans' Market is hosting a private event for Alcon and their surgical sales conference on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 6:30p ~ 8:30p at the OMNI Plaza Center. Alcon is the largest eye care device company in the world. They operate in the ophthalmic surgical and vision care markets, which are large, dynamic and growing. Alcon is dedicated to helping people see brilliantly. This is a private event for their surgical sales team all around the US; therefore, there is only select vendors for this show.

This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the mediums below, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.
 
MEDIUMS:
 
Artisans may apply up to 2 mediums that correlate with their business name and product line. Give an approximate percentage of each medium; for example ~ 1) Resin art paintings 60% 2) Home decor pieces in resin art 40%.
 
All work displayed in the booth must be for sale.
 
BATH & SPA: Private formulations and handmade by you.
 
CANDLES: Hand-poured and natural ingredients.
 
CLAY: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural.
 
FAIR TRADE: ALL items must be in direct support of artisans in an underdeveloped country for the purpose of giving back to those communities.
 
Here is the definition of fair trade: 
 
Fair trade is an international movement or way to conduct business that aims to alleviate poverty, create equity in the global trading market, and promote social and economic opportunities for marginalized producers, farmers, and craftspeople around the world.

FIBER: Includes wearable and non-wearable. No machine-tooled, machine-screen printing, or other forms of mass production are accepted.
 
GLASS: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes, are permitted.
 
JEWELRY: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry. Items made from commercial parts may not be exhibited.
 
METAL: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. No jewelry will be accepted in this category.
 
MIXED MEDIA: Work that combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece.
 
MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS: Handmade instruments.
 
NATURAL MATERIALS: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, home decor, and other works made from materials found in nature.
 
PHOTOGRAPHY: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only the artist's original source material is acceptable.
 
PRINTMAKING: Only hand-pulled original prints are allowed. Prints must be in limited editions, signed, and numbered.
 
SCULPTURE: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium.
 
SPECIALTY DESSERTS/FOODS: Only homemade food is accepted. Produced in small batches, not mass-produced or farmed on an industrial scale. It is made using traditional methods and tools – usually hand-crafted. It is made locally, not imported from another country.
 
TWO-DIMENSIONAL: Drawing, painting, and digital works. Reproduction prints are not allowed.
 
WOOD: Original works that are hand-tooled, machine worked, turned, or carved.
 
OTHER: Specialty crafts and others not listed above. Be specific in your description.

REFUNDS /CANCELLATION/VENDOR CREDIT: 
 
Traveling Artisans' Market DOES NOT offer refunds for any reason. No refunds in case of unforeseen illnesses, family emergencies, or schedule conflicts; inclement weather, acts of nature, or restrictions by governmental agencies to cancel the event, over which Traveling Artisans' Market has no control. Vendor credit will only be applied if TAM makes changes to event dates or venue location.
 
ASSUMPTION OF RISK:
 
I agree to indemnify and hold Traveling Artisans' Market, their officials, staff, and agents harmless of and from any and all actions, causes of actions of every kind in law or equity, suits, debts, liens, contracts, agreements, promises, claims, liabilities, demands, damages, obligations, loss, costs, and expense of any nature whatsoever, known or unknown, fixed or contingent, including, with limitation, attorney’s fees and court costs through and including any appeals, taxable or otherwise, incurred, either directly or indirectly, as a result of my participation in the Traveling Artisans' Market, including but not limited to, any claims which might be made by myself, my co-workers, my agents, my employees, and/or any member of the general public.
 
I acknowledge that I am responsible for the security of my own property and responsible for securing my canopy and fixtures to prevent safety hazards and expressly assume all risk of loss and/or damage to property arising either directly or indirectly from my participation in the Traveling Artisans' Market. I understand and agree that Traveling Artisans' Market is in no way responsible for my property or its safekeeping.

Prices

Plaza Center Table Space TWO TABLES $125 Non-refundable Table Space includes a rented umbrella from OMNI within a 8 feet wide by 6 feet deep space, and allows a vendor TWO 6' tables with a fitted tablecloths. All supplies/excess products must be stored under the table and unseen.
Plaza Center Table Space ONE TABLE $100 Non-refundable Table Space includes a rented umbrella from OMNI within a 8 feet wide by 6 feet deep space, and allows a vendor ONE 6' table with a fitted tablecloth. All supplies/excess products must be stored under the table and unseen.
