Arts & Craft Vendor Application

The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art is proud to present the 2022 Chalktoberfest, a combination of chalk art festival which is free to the public and Marietta’s premier craft beer festival on Saturday where tickets are required.  In 2021 the festival had over 100,000 visitors over the weekend.  Our event this year will be on Saturday, October 8th from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 9th from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Chalktoberfest will be located on the historic Marietta Square surrounding Glover Park and will continue down toward the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art building - most streets around the Marietta Square will be closed for the duration. Marietta Square is 15 miles northwest of Atlanta, just of the I-75, Exit 265. The MCMA Chalktoberfest benefits the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art. Enjoy your afternoon sampling craft beers, live music, art and craft vendors, watching professional chalk artists chalk the streets and eating great food at the beautiful downtown square of Marietta. This year, only art & craft local artisan vendors will be accepted.  No vendors should have products that are manufactured and resold or a business unless you are a Chalktoberfest sponsor.  Businesses can become a Chalktoberfest sponsor which could include a chalk block and vendor booth options. Please email Sally Macauley at sally@mariettacobbmuseumof art.org. The 2022 vendor booth price is $325 for one (1) space and $575 for two (2) spaces.  One (1) 10’ x 10’ space will be blocked off for your business on load-in day.  Please bring your own tent, chairs, tables and/or display pieces to complete your booth. You may not go outside your 10’ x 10’ space without permission of the event coordinator. Electrical power is available in predetermined areas only and must be requested on the application for consideration on a first come first serve basis. No generators or drop cords across the walkways will be permitted. Parking will be available in the City of Marietta parking decks located one block off the Marietta Square. These are paid parking decks that are approximatly $8/day to park. No cars will be permitted in the event area with the exception of set-up and tear-down times.   Security will be provided by MCMA and the City of Marietta throughout the event and after hours. However, please be aware that MCMA Chalktoberfest 2022, the City of Marietta, the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art and its staff are not to be held liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. Additionally, we recommend that you do not leave any items overnight if they are small and easy to steal. Each vendor is solely responsible for collecting, reporting and submitting sales tax payment to the Georgia Department of Revenue, Sales and Use Tax Division. I have read, understood, and agree to abide by the rules and regulations set forth and other rules as may be established and presented at my acceptance. I release and forever discharge the 2022 MCMA Chalktoberfest, the City of Marietta, Marietta Cobb Museum of Art, its staff, and volunteers, from any responsibility, personal liability, loss, claims, or damages arising out of, or in conjunction with the 2022 MCMA Chalktoberfest event.
