FOOD TRUCK VENDORS WILL:
- Provide all food merchandise and staff.
- Provide services at time stated above and on date of event.
- Follow all local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Work from the space you are assigned.
- Provide a quality food product and a food truck that is staffed by clean, professional and courteous personnel.
- Plastic food gloves shall be used by vendor personnel. No contact with money shall be allowed by persons handling food.
- Appropriate fire extinguisher equipment must be inside the truck and readily accessible during the event.
- Vendor will provide and maintain trash can(s) outside of their trucks during the entirety of the event. Trash must be taken off premises with all food trucks.
NO REFUNDS: There are no date transfers or refunds of the vending fee as vendor fees are used
for promotional materials, rent and event costs.
WEATHER: The market is a rain or shine event. We will remain open in all weather that allows us
to continue to operate safely.
YOUR VENDING SPACE: Your space at The Lucky Flea will be a spot appropriate for the size of
your truck on the asphalt of the Village Gate parking lot located at 320 N Goodman Street. No
additional vending materials will be provided. The complete vendor map (including finalized
food truck vendor space assignments) will be sent out via email two days prior to your
participating date. Vendor spaces are not necessarily the same for each market, so keep an eye
out for space changes every week.
SETUP AND BREAK DOWN: Setup time is between 9AM - 10AM, all food trucks must be parked at their spot and ready to open at 10AM. Any food trucks that arrive after market open will NOT be allowed to set up for safety reasons. Breakdown can begin after market close at 4PM. Food trucks cannot leave early under any circumstances as this poses a large safety concern for all patrons/ vendors at the market.
PERMITS AND INSURANCE: All food trucks vendors must make sure they have obtained a license to operate,
liability insurance, a New York State Health Department permit, complete a fire safety training
class and pass an inspection by the License Investigation Unit of the Rochester Police
Department and the Fire Safety Division of the Rochester Fire Department. Along with permits, food truck vendors must maintain insurance coverage that covers General Liability Limits of 1M per occurrence and 2M aggregate.
FLEA VALUES: The Lucky Flea is first and foremost a safe and inclusive atmosphere for creators
to thrive as a collective. Hate is never tolerated. By sending in an application you hereby declare
that you have read and accepted all conditions of The Lucky Flea Market. You understand that
there are no refunds of the vending fee. I consent to all photos/ videos taken at the event to be
released publicly. The Lucky Flea LLC. and affiliated businesses including Buckingham
Properties and The Grove are not responsible for any liability, lost or stolen merchandise or
injury during the event.
