Trash Bash Team Application (May ART CRUSH 2025)

Think you've got what it takes to turn trash into treasure? Apply to join a Trash Bash team for ART CRUSH Friday, May 16th 7-10pm!

For this free event, teams of artists will compete to build free-standing sculptures using various provided reused materials. The winning team will receive a one-of-a-kind Reconsidered Goods/The Art SHAC Reuse Trophy. 

This event is open to ages 14+ Competitors may register as an individual or as a team (groups of 3 to 5). Individuals will be placed into teams of the day of the event. 

Total of 5 teams will compete - team slots will be granted first come, first served. Additional registrant will be put on a waitlist!

There will be five teams of creatives/artists/makers. You will have 1 hour to meet your teammates, survey your provided materials, and develop a game plan. There can be NO TOUCHING of materials before the official
start time at 7 pm. This hour is also a great time to ask questions and clarify any rules previously sent. You will then have 1 hour and 15 minutes (75 minutes) to collaborate, create, and install your work. After judging, the works will remain on display until 9:30pm. All team activity and display of work must stay within the marked boundaries for your team. These areas will be taped off during the event.

This event is free to participate in! If you are signing up for a group please fill out the form accordingly. If you are filling out as an individual, just a reminder that you will be filled into teams less than 5 or formed into a team of individuals.
